I'm finally discharged! FEELS SO GOOD TO BE HOME! Thank you to all those who came to see me and those who messaged me to keep me sane in that room. Doc decided to give me a single room for my own convenience so i spent my days staring outside the window at trees and cars, with YES 93.3 playing in the background. I survived 3 days without my laptop. Call me mighty.

A horde of 3106 babes came to see me the second day! Gema and Kah Huei came too. Much appreciated peeps!! They delivered my PW evaluation sheet and loads of notes. Compared to the 2 months i missed in Sec 3, this one week away from school saw me missing a lot more work. AHHH what the heck, i'll be back next wed! Continue to conquer those irritating subjects we dont even need in the future.
I survived this ordeal, i'll survive somemore.

The view from my window.

Feel the love! 10 people in stinkin' group PE tee came to see me! Heehee.. And i was having dinner so they STARED at my meal..

Ever since the PW results were out, my friends and I have constantly been pondering over how the results were calculated and awarded to the students. With a national average of only 20% distinctions, and with quite a few schools having less than 10% A's, it is evidently shocking. While SAJC only had 8 people scoring A's, Hwa Chong had 82 PERCENT distinction. And to that we pose the question as to how the teachers actually mark our papers and whether the marking scheme has been regulated. Many schools had internal markers and if, under the watchful eye of our tutors who scrutinised our scripts and made us redo over and over again, we are still scoring B's and C's, something is amiss. It's hard to comprehand the statistics. TJ had 75% A's AND B's while MJ had 51% A's. TJ did so well last year so how can this year be so different?

It's a mystery i wish to uncover but is one the MOE probably wouldn't tell..

PW results are finally out and well, i'm glad to say that i'm not disappointed. Then again, it sucks to have no one to share your joy with. Frankly speaking, when Yanjun told me i got an A as i was about to make my way to Ms Quek, I had a 'omg, it's unbelievable' moment. I was excited and ecstatic. When Ms quek personally confirmed my result, i was grinning away. However, as my eyes trailed down the name list, i managed to catch a glimpse of my other peeps results and i couldn't feel the ecstacy riding through me anymore. I knew my friends were gonna be disappointed and i felt disappointed for them too. That 'A' feels so surreal to me. Like its not true. Nonetheless, I hope my friends can get over this disappointment and move on to score As for their A level! I want 3106 to feel what 4E1 felt when we got back our results! And as for me, i want this to kickstart my determination to study and multiple that result of mine.

I love you, 31/06.

Just some random rants, feel like blogging but don't know what to write.

It's term 2 of JC2 life and things are finally picking up. In a blink of an eye one and one-third years of my JC life is over. Why cant JC education be 3 years instead of 2? That way, we can spend more time with our friends and not need to cram all those chapters into 6 terms. While i am looking forward to the end of the year and doing all the exciting things i've planned to do, i will miss the crazy school days. It may be tough, but nothing's impossible so long we have friends by our side. I guess, sweating it out together will be the thing i miss the most. Entering uni life will be both treacherous and exciting. But i'm not looking forward to that yet, at least for now.

freaky~ it's actually pretty accurate!

From the test in http://www.paulgoldinresearch.com/cg/ :

You have a vivid imagination and this is good. Great inventors, explorers all had inventive, imaginative minds. Your friends and acquaintances may consider you over-imaginative and given to fantasy or day-dreaming. So what ? this is a part of your character and charm.

You are lazy - you dream of a peaceful, calm, uncluttered and uncomplicated life. Your ideal would be to share a permanent base with some person or persons who would be able to demonstrate on-going love, peace and security.

Everything seems to have gone wrong and the situation at this time is such that you are not quite sure which way to turn. So it would appear that you are 'holding back', re-consolidating your position and relinquishing all fun and games for the time being.

Your ability to withstand the pressures of everyday life have been overtaxed and this is leading to stress and frustrations. It would seem that for the time being you have lost the resilience and strength of will necessary to contend with existing difficulties. You feel that it is all 'too much' and, try as you may, you are getting nowhere. But to give you credit, you continue to stand your ground and pursue your objectives with a fierce intensity. Naturally this situation is subjecting you to intolerable stress and pressure from which you would dearly like to escape, but you can not bring yourself to make the necessary decision. As a result you remain firmly involved in the problem and you can neither view it objectively nor get rid of it - you cannot leave it alone and you feel that you will only be at peace when you have reached your objective.

Being afraid that you may be prevented from achieving your hopes and dreams is making you anxious and nervous. As a dreamer your ideas can at times move into the realm of fantasy and you could be following that so called illusive dream.
